Essa Al Falasi
Chairman
Essa Al Falasi is the dynamic Chairman of Emirates Minting Factory LLC, with 12 years of experience. He played vital roles in various flagship Industrial Mega projects in UAE and Overseas. Essa currently holds several senior positions in private companies.
Mubashar Hussein
Managing Director
From past more than a decade, Mubashar Hussain worked with different gold trading and mining companies. Tenure of career spans from operations officer to current position MD. Mubashar has experience of developing gold trading companies from scratch which includes defining SOP’s for compliance and trading, team management, communications and cash flow management.
Samir Kharsa
General Manager
Samir has over 35 years of experience in the gold and precious metals industry. He started his journey in the 1980s as a jeweller general manager in Saudi Arabia. He then moved to Dubai in 1992 and became the general manager in Emirates Gold L.L.C for the next 20 years. He then founded Emirates Minting Factory LLC in 2012 and allowed his expertise to lead the way to his success. His proficiency mainly lies in gold refining, minting, and jewellery manufacturing.
Mohamad Kharsa
Deputy General Manager
Following in the footsteps of his father, Samir, a renowned figure in Dubai's precious metal sector, Mohamad began his journey early, gaining hands-on experience in minting and refining alongside his studies. Leveraging his profound understanding of production processes, Mohamad plays a pivotal role in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring the company maintains its competitive edge and operational excellence.
Faisal Zia

Faisal is a highly accomplished finance professional with over 18 years of experience, started his career at Ernst & Young, a Big Four firm, where he developed expertise in auditing, taxation, financial analysis, risk management, and strategic consulting. He has since held senior leadership roles within the precious metals refining and trading sectors, where his proven ability to optimize financial operations and drive growth has established him as a trusted industry leader. Faisal is a member of prestigious international professional bodies, reflecting his unwavering commitment to excellence and industry best practices.
Malik Umar Mukhtar
Compliance Head
Mr. Malik Umar Mukhtar is a seasoned compliance professional with nearly a decade of specialized experience in the DNFBP (Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions) sector of the United Arab Emirates. With a robust professional journey spanning over 16 years, he has held pivotal roles in both banking and DNFBP sectors, acquiring extensive knowledge and expertise along the way. Mr. Mukhtar is distinguished by his attainment of the CAMS (Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist) certification, underscoring his unwavering dedication to combating financial crime and upholding regulatory compliance standards.
